The BL8037 is a high-efficiency DC-DC step-down converter capable of delivering 2A of output current. It operates over an input voltage range of 4.2V to 28V and can provide output voltages as low as 0.8V; its protection features include cycle-by-cycle current limiting, hiccup short-circuit protection, undervoltage lockout and over-temperature protection with automatic recovery. This product has two operating modes, PFM and PWM, and is highly efficient at light loads. It also has an internal loop compensation function that integrates a 180/110mΩ synchronous MOSFET pair, which can reduce external compensation components and simplify the design process. The main applications include distributed power systems, flat-panel TVs and monitors, set-top boxes, etc.
