1、Construction work is simple. It eliminates the need for standing poles,erecting steel strand suspension wires,and hanging pulleys on the suspension wires to lay optical cables. It can fly directly across fields,ridges,and rivers just like power lines.
2、Communication lines and power lines form separate systems. No matter which line fails,maintenance and inspection will not affect each other.
3、Compared with the bundled and twisted optical cables used in power systems,ADSS does not rely on power lines or ground wires and is erected separately on towers,allowing construction without power outages.
4、Optical cables have superior performance in high-intensity electric fields and are not subject to electromagnetic interference. The outer sheath made of special materials protects them from lightning strikes.
5、It eliminates the communication line survey and tower construction process,and simplifies the project construction.
6、The small diameter and light weight of the optical cable reduce the impact of ice and wind on the optical cable, and also reduce the load on the tower and supports. To maximize the utilization of pole and tower resources,high-voltage transmission cables below 500KV will be widely used.
