1、Purpose
Pre twisted wire connectors are only designed as separate external components for high-voltage lines (<345kV).

 

 

2、Characteristics
1) For single material wires, such as all aluminum, aluminum alloy, or copper wires, the splice strip can restore 100% mechanical strength and greatly improve the conductivity of the wire within the splice length;
2) For steel core aluminum stranded wire, wire connectors can restore 100% strength of the aluminum wire and 10% strength of the steel core. At the same time, within the range of installing wire connectors, the conductivity is greatly improved;
3) Our company also provides pre twisted protective rods, pre twisted short protective rods, and pre twisted suspension clamps, which can be used for wire repair.

 

 

3、Special design
The protective wire splicing strip combines the functions of protective wire and splicing strip. When the damaged point of the wire is within the support point and the nearest damaged point. This type of connecting strip can be used. The protective wire splicing strip is specially designed according to user requirements. The design purpose is that when the color code on the connecting strip is aligned with the support point, the extension section can cover the damaged area;

 

 

4、Instructions for use
1) For steel core aluminum stranded wire, wire connectors can restore the strength of the aluminum wire, but cannot restore the strength of the steel core. When there are signs of damage to the steel core, full tension connectors can be used;
2) All wires, regardless of whether they have been used or not, must be thoroughly cleaned and polished to remove the oxide layer before installing the wire connector strip until it becomes shiny. Before installing the product, high-quality conductive grease that matches the wire must be applied to the surface of the wire;
3) Lapping is allowed on the wire splice strip. Before installing the overlapping clip, the wire must be thoroughly polished and coated with conductive grease. At the same time, the outer surface of the splice strip must also be thoroughly polished to remove any possible oxide layer and adhesive. The overlapping area of the splice strip also needs to be coated with conductive grease;
4) When the midpoint of the splice strip is aligned with the damaged point on the wire during installation, the distance between the tail end of the splice strip and the tail end of the pre twisted or short pre twisted protective strip that has already been installed should not be less than 152mm. Only when the damaged point of the wire is outside the support point or the nearest damaged point, can this type of splicing strip be used and play the above-mentioned maintenance function of the splicing strip;
5) Pre twisted wire connectors are designed for specific occasions and can only be used once. Under no circumstances should the product be reused or modified.
